Integrative Womb Hara Massage Therapy
Womb Hara is not your regular massage.
It is a deeper, more profound journey into your inner world and subtle realms.
It offers deep nurturing and it is supportive for women of all ages and stages of life.
“Hara”, a Japanese word for the abdomen, refers to the body’s energetic centre. Within this sacred space resides Her Highness - the womb - your gateway to creation, intuition, and remembrance.During the session,
we focus on the abdominal area, the sacral area (your lower back), and the womb space.
This work supports the flow of chi, or prana — your life force energy - helping it move freely throughout your body.
Each person experiences Womb Hara differently.
For some, it brings the release of deep-seated tension, trauma, stagnation, or old blockages held in the abdomen and womb. For others, it opens the door to profound rest and rejuvenation, or awakens parts of themselves that have long been dormant or hidden.
While every journey is unique,
this practice can gently regulate your nervous system, guiding you into a parasympathetic state where rest, repair, and healing naturally occur. It can also awaken your creative power and potential - whether you wish to birth a child, bring a project to life, or manifest a dream.
Womb Hara helps you access your inner wisdom and reconnect with the divine feminine within. It is your portal to creating a magnetic, aligned life.
Ultimately, it is an invitation to return
home to your Body, your Power, and
your innate apacity to Create and Heal.

Prior to our session you will be asked to fill up an intake form that will give me a brief information about you. We might discuss some of it when we meet, and together we will set an intention for the session.
I start working with your back, sacrum and glutes, I may also work around your tailbone area. Pace and depth are guided by you and your body, and you are always in charge of setting boundaries. When you turn on your back we will work around your hara space i.e. around your abdominal organs, diaphragm, and then the womb space. At times I will guide you through deeper breathing.
If applicable, I will apply Moxibustion on your lower abdomen after the massage, and the closing part of the session (many women’s favourite!) is Rebozo, or Soul Retrieval practice. Using a long type of materials, you will be wrapped and swayed, oftentimes feeling deeply held and nurtured. You will have time for integration, whether in silence or through a chat, choice is yours, depending how you’re feeling.

It is an external bodywork and your privacy is always honoured. At times I will work close to your pubic bone and tail bone, but will never expose your breasts or bottom.
You can leave your lower underwear on, and some women often wear socks for warmth and comfort. The rest of your body that I’m not working on will always be covered with blankets.

In this work, we stir the inner cauldron. Unexpressed emotions stored in the abdomen, or unresolved trauma held in the womb space, may resurface.
This is a precious opportunity to meet these feelings with presence and compassion.
Whether they arise during our session, or days after, a good way to honour what comes up is through journalling, offering yourself moments of presence and reflection, going gently with your days and allowing time to process and integrate your experience.

You may experience some discomfort, or more intense sensations. The womb and abdomen ‘like’ to store unprocessed emotions, fear and traumas in the form of tension.
But as mentioned previously, the session is mainly guided by you, your body, your pace. You are in charge and I will never override your consent.
